I found this hose clamp on the driveway underneath my truck this morning. 2024 Ranger 2. 3 XLT. Need help identifying where it came from. It looks like it fell from the rear of the engine compartment. I have looked but can not find where it belongs. Afraid to drive it now. It’s about a 1.25 diameter steel worm drive clamp. Any ideas where it came from?

If you don't see anything it might have been a factory worker dropped one and couldn't find it so he put another one on.

Is that clamp still threaded? It's difficult to see in the picture.

If it is, a hose would have needed to disconnect in order for it to fall off.

If it's not still threaded, I'd continue the search and notify the dealership before driving it.

Just taking a quick look under my own hood. All the smaller diameter OEM hose clamps that I can see are spring clamps not "worm drive."

The found clamp was not still threaded. When inspected it seemed like the original fit was only fastened by like one or two of the worm gears.
AI says that the Ford Ranger 2. 3 has steel worm gear clamps on the coolant bypass hose. I have no idea where that would be. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

This happened to me also. Turns out after reviewing camera footage, it was actually the pizza delivery driver that dropped it in my driveway.
