Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I purchased this beautiful truck in July and just getting time to post. I was trying to decide between the Raptor and the Colorado Bison. I was coming from a 2016 Colorado Z71. I got to drive a Bison in early April and was waiting to drive the Raptor before I made the decision. Well my brother in law is a salesman and he called me one day out of the blue and said they were getting another Raptor in that day that wasn't spoken for yet. I said I'll be there in an hour and when I drove it, there was no decision anymore and I bought it right there. I only had one reservation when he called me and it was the side graphic. I usually hate them, but to be honest, it makes the bed look more proportional to me, so I am keeping it.

Mods so far:
Ceramic coated
Tinted front 2 windows
Screen protector, amazing for fingerprints
Vinyl graphics, outline on front and R on rear, from Rocky Mountain Graphics
Bak Revolver X4S bed cover
Trailing arm sensor guard from Buckle Up Off Road
Mickey Thompson Baja Legend MTZs (stock size 285/70/17)
Weather Tech mats ordered

Wish List:
Sealing the bed from dust and water
In-channel rain guards when someone releases a set that fits
Rock sliders when I find a set I like that are frame mounted
Light bar, still undecided
Ditch lights, still undecided
Chase lights, still undecided

Nice looking truck! Which screen protector did you buy? The fingerprints are annoying.

Looks great, did you do a professional ceramic coat or do it yourself? Curious what you used.

I'm still debating on whether or not to do that, and which one would be best for me. I've read on some sites that car washes are bad for ceramic coating and what can I say, I'm lazy and don't wash my vehicle myself all that often. I do take it to a car wash once a month or so. (It's in the garage when not being used and I live in a nice weather area so Iit does stay relatively clean on it's own.)

I had it professionally done. The car washes are bad all around, but it does lower the life span of the ceramic coating. I got the 2 year stuff, because the guy that installed it said with the 5 year, you need to have maintenance applications at 2 years anyways. I live in Michigan and no way to wash it in the winter, so I'm planning on using the car washes weekly. We'll see how it holds up.

My wife and I are getting this coating. This stuff is for people who use mostly car wadhes and after one 18 month inspection, You are good for 15 years, GUARANTEED! It has a 40% of a rock not putting a chip in your paint. It's more expensive but no maintenance for 15 years which make it more than pay for itself.

I’m stupid at understanding tire sizes. Are the Micky Thompson 33” or 35”?

33” - same as stock size which is essentially 32.6” diameter.

Gotcha. They look good, I believe the MT on jeeps at least are typically slightly taller and narrow than standard similar sized all terrain tires.

I have never heard of this before. I was thinking the site was kind of "scammy" asking for all your information just to find an installer. But after some googling, I would have done this over the ceramic. Will probably look into this in a year or 2. Thank you.
