Can @American Adventure LAb or someone else confirm whether the holes in the molle panels align with the arb ckmta12 on board compressor mount holes? I think they do but I’d like to confirm.

Has anyone mounted a compressor to the molle panels? I’m specifically planning to mount to the bulkhead panel.
If you're talking about the slots that are cut into the panels, between the squares, the compressors will not line up with those holes. It would require some drilling. In the attached photo, looking from the bed side of the bulkhead panel, the brushless compressor is on the right and the brushed compressor is on the left.

However, if there was enough interest, we could build an adapter plate to work with both compressors. Then, you could mount it anywhere on the panels you would like.

If you're talking about the slots that are cut into the panels, between the squares, the compressors will not line up with those holes. It would require some drilling. ahh crap. I measured and it seemed very close - glad I asked. I would 100% be interested in a bracket. Otherwise Im going to drill the holes to make it work.

Brushed. Thanks. I'd buy one immediately if it were available. Not necessary, but it would be cool if it had a spot for the ARB quick connect too (or holes for the ARB chuck relocation kit).

Really wish there were some universal standards for things like mounts and molle panels. Would make everyones lives so much easier!

If companies that made products adhered to that, it may be possible, but the holes for compressors, tool mounts, etc. all use different spacing. I'm traveling the next few days and have some other CAD projects in front of this, but I'll see if I can knock something out. It wouldn't be too difficult.

some aluminum flat bar and an M8 tap from home depot has helped me mount things on the molle panels without drilling into the panels themselves.

Bracket is the best solution for sure, but when one isn't available I'd always go that route vs drilling the panels directly.

Multiple ways of executing. Depending on needs aluminum rectangular tubing might help too. I use that often when I need to mount something where I may need to upgrade / change what is mounted, but I only want one set of mount holes penetrating the original mounting surface (usually an external surface in a water tight enclosure). Provides a sacrificial surface that I can use self tapping screws on but with a tradeoff in space.

Ideally I support AAL, but I found this back plate which seems to be exactly what you are referring to, and should also work. Pretty cheap, so I wonder whether it is stout enough to support the ARB.

The holes in that bracket are just for the compressor. You would have to drill holes in that bracket to mount it and possibly countersink those due to the bolt heads (that attach that bracket to the panel) potentially impacting the mounting surface of the compressor.

If we build one, it will be formed to all room for the heads of the bolts or countersunk for the attachment holes, that are separate from the compressor mounting slots.

The way they show it, you just sandwich the molle panel between the back plate and the compressor and use the larger molle holes. I agree its definitely not ideal in the way it would flex the plate and potentially stress the bolts, but I think it will work in a pinch. Your solution sounds much better.

I'm sure that would hold it, but you're relying on bolt pressure to keep the compressor located. If the bolts loosen, the compressor will flop around. We won't be doing ours like that. I'm off to Raptors on the Rocks today. I may have some time to draw while I'm gone.

@American Adventure LAb would you consider making a couple different size standoff bracket plates that align with the hole spacing on your molle panels? It could make for some super useful and customizable mount solutions.

I mounted my twin ARB compressor, and am planning to mount the Apex CRS and inflator clip. Im having to modify the molle panels and jerry-rig a bunch of different mending plates as brackets. If there were a couple different standoff plates that aligned with the holes, I could make the install a cleaner (and probably more secure). I'm just proposing blank plates that the user could drill holes into for whatever they want to mount. By keeping the plate clean (other than holes that align with the molle mount holes) it keeps it simple so you don't have to make a bunch of different "custom" brackets for various compressors or items that people would like to mount. Simpler bracket, more customizable, fewer SKUs, etc....

Would anyone else find this useful?

Thanks for the feedback and suggestion! Input like this is exactly how we continue to innovate and develop new solutions for our community. We'll definitely keep ideas like this in mind as we look at future accessory and mounting options.
