New to Ford Ranger

Hello Fellow Fordies. Just joined this forum to share info about Rangers.

I ordered a loaded 2025 Ranger Lariat with the V6. Just received an email from Ford it has shipped from Hermosillo plant and is en route to my dealer in central Virginia.

Any guesses or actual experiences as to when it will be delivered?

Also, I hope to add a plug and play oil catch can as soon as possible. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance. I look forward to contributing once i receive my truck and get a few miles on her.

catch can is up to you. i had one on my previous truck from mile 5k till i traded it. my son had a 2014 focus st, which is direct injection and his focus st never had an issue or missed a beat. he sold it a few months back with 150k or something like that and it still ran like it did the day we bought it home. so i am not putting on my ranger engine because of that.

but, its your truck so do what you like but be sure and post pictures when the truck makes it to you

At least since my Production Date of October 6th.

..that's what my dealer told me anyway. A quick check in Google stated that they are built in Michigan, Argentina, or Vietnam.

I wish ford.com used the high-tech tracking like Amazon, UPS, or FedEx where i could visualize it on a map!

The Ford Ranger is built at the Dearborn plant in Michigan for the US market. You dealer might have been thinking of the Maverick.

The Rangers are actually built at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne...which is not that far from Dearborn.

Congrats on your new Ranger, and welcome to the club! It’s a fun truck so I hope you enjoy it!
I live in Minnesota, so in my experience it took Ford about 3 weeks to get my truck to the dealership from Michigan. It might vary a little, but I think that’s probably a good estimate.

Mine took about 8 weeks from order to home delivery and I'm in Canada. Not sure if that helps but my dealer had vehicle for about a week and a half to get tint done for me and actual delivery.

Thanks for the info Roy. I don't recall if the Lariat comes with any window tinting. I may have to get that done prior to delivery.

It's already been 9 weeks since I ordered it. Guess another week or so after delivery won't hurt.

Mine was built in August and my dealer told me it was built in Michigan.

Congrats on your purchase! My guess is it's a week out. Mine was shipped to a regional holding area somewhere not too far from Philly, then waited a day or two for the truck to pick it up and take it to my dealer.
