Hi,
Is it weird to have no email confirmation from Ford on an order after 2 months? I see many posts where people got some sort of confirmation next day, I have no email, or scheduling date yet. The dealer says the order is in and has an order number, but no scheduling. Order was placed November 2 2024, options in case it matters:

2025 XLT Canadian Spec carbonized grey
FX4
Block Heater
Box side steps
Advanced towing
Spray in liner
2.7L

Starting to get a little nervous with the radio silence seeing so many other people getting fast communication! Order was put in at priority 3 retail order on my copy of the paperwork, thanks for any input

Don't worry. I have been waiting since May 4th of last year, moved my order to 2025 in October, still no production date.

Same here, order placed on 10/31/24. Never received any type of email confirmations. I’ve been told that this is not uncommon. Order has not been scheduled as of yet. Dealer provided a DORA however if I call Ford they cannot find the order number in the system and direct me to the dealer. Dealer says the order has been placed, sales manager showed me the order in One Bank in person. I have heard that there may be constraints on the spray in bed liner and that is what is holding up many of the orders. Scheduling is done for February builds. They most likely won’t be scheduling for March builds until next month.

I ordered my RR March of 23 never got any emails from Ford had to use the Ford chat to get answers it took 16.5 months to get my Pickup only adds were sprayed in bedliner and mud flaps. With the ford chat i needed my order number and the dealer number and they kept me fairly well informed when i contacted them.

I placed an order in early December, received an email within 24 hours from Ford saying that I'll hear back again within 45 days with a build date. Fingers crossed!

It really depends how the dealer entered the order and how it is being prioritized. On my full size Raptor, I never received an email as the order was still assigned to the dealer with no customer info. After 13 Months I found another one and bought it. The one I ordered showed and seemed to get prioritized about 6 weeks after I told them I was moving on, so I know the dealer was the holdup.

On my RR that never got built because the dickhead Sales Manager never prioritized it, I am still receiving emails from Ford every 45 days. In both cases it was easier to just go find the Raptor's I wanted and work a deal than wait on Ford's ordering system or shitty dealers. Carfax is your friend and they are not hard to find.

The stupid ordering system is the biggest problem with Ford Sales. I have bought plenty of high end Fords but in the last 5 years they have just failed. They can't seem to take an order, prioritize it and complete it in a reasonable time. I love my Raptors and Mustangs. I am ok with their Service. I hate Ford Sales.

I contacted ford Canada by phone, then gave the order number. They did not have anything as of yet. Then within 2 days of the call, I got an email from my salesman with a vin and schedule date of Feb 24/2025. My order is a reg stock order. It's a plain Jane xl with block heater and tow package.

I wouldn’t worry too much. I ordered my XLT September 27/24and didn’t receive anything from Ford until December 5/24. My build date is scheduled the week of February 24/25. So likely see it April here in Winnipeg. Cheers!

Id say that the person who actually put the order in with Ford (not your salesman) at the dealership you ordered from did not give Ford your email when they placed the order.

I ordered a 2025 RR in October. I've heard nothing from Ford since other than the generic order acknowledgment. You'd think after 100+ years in business they'd have an amazing, curated customer experience for new customer orders, but no. They are completely incompetent. As far as I'm concerned, we should let Amazon and Walmart start selling Chinese cars direct, perhaps the US carmakers would get their s**t together, lobby state legislators to kill off the stupid dealer sales model and maybe (I realize it's a long shot) start caring about customers again.

Sorry for the rant, I'm just very disappointed in most American companies these days. They all act like they're doing you a favor by delivering whatever they happen to be in business for (cars, insurance, internet, etc., et al). It's gotten completely out of hand.

Yup that’s true, you have to get your order number and VIN from your dealership then track online.
