Does anyone know the part number for the OEM plastic bedrail caps? I am looking for them specifically for a Ranger Raptor.

Thanks!

Why do you need new caps, did you sit on them and smash them? Load limit 88 pounds! What a crock…!

I love my RR but I am having a hard time accepting how much thin plastic is on it.

I am getting a ton of water intrusion into the bed through the stake pockets and around the edges, so I want to buy another set and try to seal them up. I know when I remove mine, I’ll likely break the clips!

I currently have a Softopper on my truck and the edge of the topper sits in the middle of the bed rail, so any water that runs off my topper hits the middle of the bed rail and then runs directly to the stake pockets….

Reach under the rail with long nosed pliers and squeeze the tabs on each retainer while carefully lifting. This is how ARB Australia recommends removing them. The push pins that go in the sides will probably get trashed. Please post a thread showing how you do this, with some pics.

its been a month, I am just digging into this topic myself, and wondered what (if anything) you did to resolve this?

I tried to seal mine with the putty that came with my bed cover. Unfortunately it didn’t work. My next step will be to try to use RTV to caulk it from the top side to see if that works. I also considered taking the rail off and sealing it from the bottom side with flexseal but I am trying to avoid that because that would require taking off the bed cover.

Are those little caps alone orderable without buying the full plastic rails?

I had the same water leak issue. I just took a small screwdriver and gently lifted along the middle edge of the bed caps and they came out easily without damage. I ended up putting them back in with a bead of clear silicon where the cap sits and then a small bead of silicon caulk around the edge of each cap. So far this works fine and no leaks.

Hope this helps, Steve

Live in the salt belt? I'd leave them off and go get the rails Line-X'd, and under them.
Mind you, the ones on my '07 Ranger were stuck on with double sided tape, the metal under them rotted/rusted totally away. And I kept them sprayed with Fluid Film and Wool Wax.
