The big winter storm has hit and left large parts of the country covered in plenty of snow. I haven’t ventured out yet but I’m certain some others have. Let’s see some pics of Rangers playing in the snow

No pics from playing in the snow (in Dallas we had mostly ice anyway), but I will say that I had to venture out every day to take my son to work when all schools shut down for nearly the entire week, and while the roads were pretty treacherous in spots, I was absolutely blown away by how well the Slippery mode 4X4 setting controlled the truck on every turn/acceleration/etc. Despite trying (albeit I did not push the limits) to spin out some, it never did, gripping the snow/ice packed road just fine, until I put it back in 2 wheel drive.

Down in Austin it was mostly sleet/freezing rain so the roads were icy, but it gave me a perfect opportunity to go out and practice skid recovery. I'm from NH so I'm used to driving in the wintry stuff, but I wanted to try out the stock tires and see how well they would do in ice/snow and I have to say I was pretty impressed. Never put it in 4WD at all, never felt as though I needed to. I found an open parking lot with islands to go around and no cart corrals to worry about and played for 20-30 minutes, kicking out the rear end on purpose and then recovering. Nice bit of fun on a day off.

Are your tires the wagon wheel tread, or the other ones? I have the Territory AT tires, they have done well this winter for traction.

Those are what I have as well. Like I said, pleasantly surprised. I'll still probably upgrade them this year though.

how did you get the wiper blades up like in the pic, mine hit the hood & will not have clearance to do what you did, I have always pulled my wiper up when it snowed & I can't do that with the ranger!

Turn them on when they are straight up turn the engine off. They will stay and then lift them up like I have mine. Remember to put them back down before you start it normally. If you remote start it nothing will happen as there isn't full power to everything until you use key/start button.
