The boards were just the right height so that you step on them and then you bend down to get in, then when you get out, perfect height to trip and get hung up in them. The trucks on like almost a 33, you really dont need them, unless its for offroad protection. My wife is out in it today, i think i may have lost them both.

What wheels and tires are those?

I'm thinking about taking my running boards off too. Yours is the first I've seen without them.

Looks good with the mud flaps. I got those also, but was considering removing those as well.

I live in a rural area, and I can spend 3hours detailing a vehicle, drive to town and it looks like I’ve been racing in Baja. I had a BRaptor for a while with the dumbo ear fenders…cleanest thing I’ve ever owned. So maybe I’m getting older or smarter, but I got the mud flaps. First night with the Ranger, it was pouring rain driving home. Got home & just the rear was dirty. I’m putting giant mud flaps on everything now 😆.

I had heard at least the 2019 & up fit. I can confirm this is true. It's a Rough Country, but I tried a Ford one too (I forget who makes it..Leer?). Fit the same but needed a bigger/taller piece of foam/rubber seal to go along the front. Harbor Freight for the win.
