Do you know is there any difference between 2024 and 2025 model year?

I also live in Idaho (the very expensive town, I’m sure you can guess which one that is) and was able to get an allocated order placed for $3500 above MSRP, which was a bit better than the standard $5000 I was getting from most dealerships. I ordered mine from a dealership outside of town because they gave me a better deal and I preferred working with them anyways (I’m not a fan of the local ford dealership and would have still passed on them even for the same price). I don’t love the idea of paying a dealer premium but at the end of the day, the few grand doesn’t make a difference for me knowing I get the exact spec I wanted.

I just placed my order, waited, and waited. Then truck showed up, msrp, extended warranty, then signed papers, Drove away. I’m in Wyoming. My dealer only got 2 Raptors allocations for 2024. Try ordering from Wyoming dealer.

You could find one halfway across the country for MSRP, fly there and drive back and still be ahead financially. Please don’t reward bad dealers.

Hey yall, I was hoping to get some info on possible car dealers that aren't adding any mark-ups. I reached out to Granger Ford in Iowa but they said they dont have any allocation for RR orders. The lowest in SoCal was a 5k markup. I'd be willing to travel or maybe even have shipped. Looking to place a new order for MY25. Anything you could share would be much appreciated.

I just picked up my 25 Ranger Raptor yesterday from Jones Ford in Casa Grande, AZ with no markup. My sales persons name is Dustin Regnell. I live in Mesa, AZ (50 miles away). All dealers in the Phoenix metro area wanted a 10k market adjustment. I paid a little over 60k (plus tax license and etc.)

I would like to order a Ranger Raptor at MSRP. I don’t mind waiting 5-9 months for the vehicle to be delivered. I live in a pretty wealthy town, Boise Idaho and I can’t compete with the locals. I have spoken with 4 dealerships so far. The closest one to me will sell an allocation to me for 10,000 dollars. I started calling out of town and they are looking for 5,000 dollars. Reading the forum it sounds like dealerships as of today can accept orders, although dealers are telling me I need to wait another month before orders open ( is there any truth to this? ). I would appreciate any recommendations or insight on how to order a Ranger Raptor. If it helps, I am willing to travel within a 500 mile ring of Boise. If you know of a dealer that could work with me please let me know. Thanks for your time!!

I learned a very valuable lesson a few years ago when the Bronco came out. I wanted a Wild Track and couldn't find one anywhere. I found a dealer in Maine that wanted 7500.00 over. I wanted the Bronco bad enough, so like a moron, I paid full MSRP and the ridiculous ADM on top of it. Shortly after owning it, I realized I didn't have a future with it as it wasn't really what I was looking for. I sold it took my punishment and vowed never to pay an ADM again. So, if you are looking for a RR at MSRP, my local dealer has two on the lot. PM and I will give you the contact info. I am in CT, just outside of Hartford.

Curious if there are any updates on this as more of these are on the road. In other vehicles that I've spec'd/purchased new there was typically a mix of actual forum dealer sponsors (love to support!) and general knowledge from the members of the "go-to" dealerships with the best deals. I've never paid MSRP, never mind ADM. Haven't really seen "the" dealer to work with on the forums, but I'm clearly new.

I had found some listed on Autotrader and the like, but the prices were clearly attention grabbers. Once you looked through the fine print, their advertised price includes "trade in assistance", "dealer finance incentive", blah blah blah. Then it's the fees. Mother of God the fees... Title fee, tag fee, finance fee, documentation fee, Lemon Law fees, processing fee, destination fee, license fee, registration fee, emission testing fees, compliance fees, just because you walked in the door fee........

Who out there has a clear cut, non-convoluted purchase price that's under MSRP? As an example, I purchased a truck at 10% below invoice and had a $199 document fee. That's it. No smoke and mirrors, no jumping through hoops. Just order the truck, arrive, pay as agreed, and go home.

I'm in North Georgia, but I'll fly out and drive back if I need to. Great opportunity to get to know the new truck...

Cheers!

I think now is a great time to get a Raptor. 740+ showing on CarGurus. You will run into dealers with an aggressive price only to hit you with protection packages, large doc fees (avoid Florida at all costs).
in my experience Arkansas, Texas, Missouri, Illinois are all aggressively priced. Dealer in Tulsa is showing $4,500 off MSRP on their Raptor. Even with a $599 doc fee that’s worth flying out if they don’t add mandatory crap on top of it.
Just remind them there are 700 available and model year is coming to a close. “I’ll buy today if you sell it for xx,xxx.”

On a 2025 no less, good find!

Great advice...

Not the biggest fan of the color, but it could certainly work.

In a more general question, what happened to dealers offering "X-Plan" and such? Maybe that's just not a thing on the Ranger Raptors?

No plan deals on SVT vehicles. As you can see on my truck the margins suck.
