Power Tailgate System Malfunction on Ranger Raptor

Hello everyone and Happy New Year. A couple weeks after enabling the dash temperature readout and the trnsmission temperature readout on the dash cluster using Forscan, a couple weeks later I am getting a "Power Tailgate System malfunction Service Now" mesage. I am in the US with the NA 2025 Ranger Raptor. Do you think enabling these caused the error? Or, just a coincidence? There is no power tailgate in the North America Ranger Raptor. Just FYI.

coincidence. maybe its saying the power lock is messed up?

i turned those same things on in my truck and have gotten no errors yet. its coming up on a year since i did mine

Thanks for the reply. Thats why I didn't rush out and reprogram. The tailgate lock appears to be working correctly. I guess I will have to mess around with it a little. I will post what I find. Thanks.

So I disconnected the negative battery cable for 10 minutes. The issues seems to have disappeared. However, my truck is a garage princes and I go days without driving it so we will have to see how long that last.
