Ive been semi shopping for a good deal on a 25 Ranger XLT in the Atlanta area on cargurus.

Something I notice that bugs me, I see new, pretty much loaded loaded XLTs at different dealers. Especially with Adapt Cruise. Tech Package, full tow package. 301A plus other options marked down more than lower option trucks. Is this just because a pricier vehicle has more room for mark down. Or are dealers having issues selling trucks with these options possibly due to problems? It makes me cautious about possible issues.

I don't think there are issues, just market forces. Might be more inventory or mfg to dealer kickbacks.

if you want those things, then get them. If they are marked down more, even better.

the 301a package, technology packages are not really large cost upgrades in the scheme of things

take a look at some of the upgrade packages on Toyota tacoma

I suppose some where down the line all of the fancy gadgets might make it more prone to problems

My last truck had rollup windows, manually adjusting 4 way seats, manual mirrors, manual locks, and no cruise control

heated 10 way powered seats are really nice to have, I really like the powered sliding rear window

I consider the 360 camera and adaptive cruise control almost a necessity these days

I got my 24 XLT at Akins in Winder. Pretty good deal and they had like 80 on the lot. It's got every option offered on an XLT.

I think the Xlt with the 301a and the tech package is the best value.

although i love my lariat and all the little extra features
