Priority code?

I spoke with my salesman today and he sent me a picture of the preview order. It shows a priority code 06? What does this mean? I went on Ford chat and they told me my order was unscheduled clean. Just trying to figure out what this means and if any of it matters or not.

Priority code is a dealer thing. Ford doesn't care or use it. Lots of topics on this.

It's the priority level of your order solely within your dealerships orders for Ranger or whatever model you order. The lower the # the higher the priority within your dealership only. Means nothing to ford motor company. The dealers priority range can be 3-19.

Used to be used so a dealer could tell ford the priority of the order in terms of what they wanted built first. The lower the number the higher the priority. If u didn't want a vehicle built you gave it code of 99.

However, I'm told ford doesn't pay as much of attention to these priority codes now.

Retail orders had different code values than stock as well.
