Question on window sticker

Hello all,

I was lucky to find a shelter green RR last week at a “local” dealer in WI. It arrived to them on Monday, I of course had to drive to see it after their website said..on the lot. They did in deed have it. You are never sure how much to believe from the noise that comes from a salesperson as to why they had it. I asked two people and got the same answer, we are not supposed to have it…OK it’s for sale, so I will stop digging. They had it at 5k ADM, I said nope won’t pay It. I drove into the lot with a 2018 Ruby Red F150 super cab Raptor, so if any attention was paid they should have known I was serious. I drove it and was blown away with the overall feel. I told them I was a buyer at MSRP plus 3k, they said no, but 4k and it was mine. SOLD. Now comes my question. The sticker in all CAPS in the bottom middle states SPECIAL ORDER, does this just mean the person who placed The order for it in 2021..just kidding…didn’t want it or backed out on it? I have looked at several stickers on the google machine and don’t believe that I have seen one marked as such, but I could in fact be wrong.

Subtle but important issue. Fraudulent to list a fake buyer, but I highly doubt Ford cares enough to check.

Quick question on the window sticker: mine finally just popped up and I noticed that in the upper left corner where the state code is, it is a MI (Michigan) even though it is getting shipped to Ohio. My guess is that this is because I am getting a spray in bedliner. So, after production, it moves to MI for the bedliner before being shipped to OH? Anyone else notice the wrong state on their window sticker? Is that why? Thanks!

Thanks, but I mean this code. My understanding is that this is the state being shipped to.

And I found another truck - stock order - with a spray in bedliner in WV and it had WV code. So, I don't think it is the bedliner thing. I am confused. My pizza tracker has the right dealership listed = in OH.

Never mind! It updated today. It is correct now. Whew. Odd that no one else seemed to have this happen... I will have to compare and see if anything else changed from yesterday to today.

UPDATE: I compared the window stickers and practically everything outside of the green box has changed (except Blend Date and VIN). IDK, maybe that is normal, I just hadn't seen anyone mention this on these forums - lots of changes to the window sticker from day-to-day. Even a few of the items in the box changed as well: "RAMP ONE" and info under "special order."
