Ranger door keypad - hardwired or battery operated?

Does anybody know if the door keypad is hard wired on the new Ranger or does it run on a battery?

I know on my 2019 Lariat that it runs on a battery.

Depends on how much you use it but my friend has one on her 2010 F150 and its still on original battery.

I had a 2010 F150, and I’m pretty sure it was hardwired. It was built into the door versus the keypad they use on the current Ranger is the stick on type from what I hear.

I have a 2005 Ford Sport Trac. It has always worked and it is hardwired.

I have the accessory sitting in a box next to me. It is 100% battery operated.

It could be I never really took a good look at it.
