I see These V6 2.7 3.0 motors are different than other ford motors with oil filter on top Like some foreign designs. So I did some research There made in Gqeberha , South Africa at the Struandale plant

Which engine are talking about? The ranger came with multiple engine options.

My filter is on the driver side towards the mid-bottom of the block

The 2.7/3.0 is manufactured in Lima Ohio, USA for Domestic vehicles.

I did not see that . Just South Africa It could be Australian trucks
These look like a German design to me

Ford only makes the 3.0 Diesel engine in South Africa. Not the 3.0 Ecoboost for the Raptor. They are completely unrelated engines. And as far as I know the 2.7 is only available in North America.

The Thailand built trucks are made in various locations.
