Ranger for sale not really attracting any attention...

I posted my 2022 Ranger for sale here in the forums 2 months ago. There hasn't been a single comment or question on her. I just reduced the price $2000 in the hopes that somebody might see the deal and take advantage of it, or, as a minimum, pass it along to somebody looking for a nice used truck. It is at the minimum market value for just the truck itself even though it has a custom cap and several nice add-ons included.

If anyone has any other suggestions, I am all ears!

Not many people are coming to a Ranger6G forum looking to purchase a Ranger5G is probably the logical reasoning.

Your best bet is to take it to Carmax, get a baseline appraisal then take it to a couple dealers and see if they are willing to beat it. Now is the time to sell used cars.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have had a couple dealers make offers on her. It's insulting how they want to rob you and make like a 25 to 30% profit on your vehicle. I'd let it go right now if I could even get $1000 below minimum market value! They aren't happy with a $1000 profit, they think they need like $6000 to $7000 profit on it....

They want to buy it from you for trade-in value or less then turn around and sell it at market value...

Noone in the 6G forum is going to make an offer of a 5G Ranger, it's an inferior generation. You need to put this in front of the correct audience.

I just did that with a random 2022 Lariat VIN from cars.com and Carvana offered $34k using your zip code.

I just bought a brand new 2024 Ranger XL/STX 4x4 last week for $35,612. The ford employee pricing deal right now is taking more than $3k off the MSRP on all new Rangers. .......plus there are military/college grad/first responder rebates . I like your truck, the velocity blue paint is amazing, but unfortunately, would I spend $35K on a brand new ranger or a 2022 ranger?
Take the Carvana or Carmax offer ! Its the best you're going to get in this economy

That’s literally the definition of the term. If you want retail, get in the car business.

Last year, I bought a similar 2023, and sought out a SCab for the bed. I didn’t pay extra for aftermarket wheels and tires, and doubt if anyone will pay up for “a Tremor suspension”. Likewise, if you can sell the cap separately, do it. You have narrowed the appeal, broaden it out or be patient.
