the downpipes look interesting, would be nice to se an install video for the DIY guys, as well as dyno runs withous and with the downpipes specifically to see the gains of that alone.
How were the 480whp achieved?, I assume with a tune for lots of ethanol and a fuel pump upgrade at least?, how much was achieved on 93 octane max?, thanks for your feedback.

Factory fuel pump. Factory injectors. 93 pump gas.
The 362rwhp was before intake and downpipes.
After was 482rwp.
Pretty easy install, so we didn't do a video, and there's quite a few on youtube. Just unbolt and bolt new ones on.
We try to do as many individual product dyno runs as possible, it does get expensive paying a couple engineers, tuner, dyno time for a day, mechanics to strap down and setup on dyno, to then take it out and move to another bay with a lift to change out products, then back to the dyno.
Its why most of your companies just say they flow better but give you no dyno numbers.
The Nostrum Performance dyno in Detroit is climate controlled (they engineer awesome fueling products) so doing hot and cold runs takes time as well. The intake and downpipes are some of the most restrictive that the guys have ever worked with, and since most people change the CAI without ever seeing a dyno number, we added the intake to the downpipes runs which saved us roughly $2900 in facility and labor costs.

I assume the tune went in as part of the mods as well, at the same time, correct?
I ask because I did the tune first, then did the intake and did not see much of a difference at the dyno. But I have not done the downpipes yet. Any CELs with the downpipes or the tune takes care of that too?

Tune is adjusted for each part. There are many revisions.
Tune can adjust a little but needs revised to get the most outta the increased air flow from your intake. Would you share your dyno numbers please, maybe I can give you a better idea of what you'd be looking at after downpipes and a tune revision.
Zero check engine lights, I hate thrown codes, they drive me crazy. If you're tuned with CAI, adding the DP's will be like adding the tune in the first place, huge difference. Truck needs to breathe. Get the air in, and get the air out. Your factory DP's are very restrictive.

See my dyno graph attached. my baseline was 345whp stock and the highest with the JB4, larger IC, intake and meth (JB4 too) was 417whp. This was a 2WD dynojet dyno.

I did not see any significant increase when I installed the larger IC+pipes (maybe more consistency run after run) and the intake. That's why I wonder how much the downpipes will actually do. Not looking to have the fastest RR in the planet, but if I can pickup a noticeable amount of power, why not?.

Take care,

Is the Fabulous box open on the fender side? I can't remember. They have a good system, dual filter. You're getting enough air, but can't get it out. So adding timing/fuel can only help so much. Adding the high flow downpipes will get the air out as fast as you're getting it in, then you can add timing/fuel. With tuning & your meth, you should be over 500/500. A minimum of 10% gain at the wheels you should pick up which at 418rwhp that's around 42rwhp, putting you at 460rwhp, again though with tuning, you should be knocking on 500 if not over with the meth. After tuning/DP's you'll be close to being maxed out until you get bigger injectors/HPFP. I'll say this, if you don't pick up at least 42rwhp on the dyno after being tuned, I'll give you a full refund plus 10%. Nothing to lose, and only Horsepower to gain. We're slammed with orders, pull the trigger.

they have one inteke with an opening in the fender, but thats for the snorkel version. Mine has the opening in the front, just like the stock one.
Thanks for the info. My only question would be how the meth control will work, because right now its done directly by the JB4 module I have.
