I've been waiting for a second revision. Can I assume this is it?
If so, I do approve of the tighter weave and am ready to purchase one.
Again, I assume this one also comes from Custom Car Grills....yes?

The rings bolt to the shackle conversion kit, which did need some spacers to sit level in my application 2wd XT/STX

Thanks, just to be clear you didn't have to buy anything else (but washers) to put them on.

Fortunately I had a supply of good quality washers and it didn't take much, I can take close up photos for you when it's done raining here and give you a better idea. The heavy duty washers were just to shim the front of the shackle plate a small amount so that the plate sat totally level.

The only difference is I got the kit used without the rings for a discount, so I had to get the standard D rings separate to bolt on the front of the plates. Normally the kit includes the rings

The kit is reasonably priced at $40, drop in and USA made. Great family business owner with over 25 years experience

I notice on the website that these grilles will not work with the Rangers that have sensors on the front of the vehicle. My Ranger has 2 sensors up front, assuming they are the parking sensors, but they are on the flat section to the right and left, beyond where your Pic shows the grille insert ending. So I am thinking the insert will not block them. Your thoughts? Looks real good! TIA

I'd suggest reaching out to the owner of the grille company because he knows more likely, as I have the base trim I didn't need to modify anything but I'm pretty sure you could get it going. I think it's the adaptive cruise sensor in grille area that could be affected

You are correct. Did some research and it is the radar that sits behind the center piece of plastic that protects it. Not sure if there is a way to engineer around that. I would think the majority of new Rangers have adaptive cruise control. Thanks

It's an add on option, part of the Tech package. I have an XLT High but didn't get the Tech pack.

Yeah, I have wanted to put something there but like RJ says, i was worried it would interfere with radar, adaptive cruise. Anyone have any solid info if it would..part of thinks it wont since the radar can go through plastic without issue
