Before y'all beat me up, you probably will anyway, this is the cheapest best option that I've found. I tried other things and the colors were off, or the boards didn't function properly. If you want the look, like I did, then compared to everything else nowadays, it's not to bad. The picture below turned out a little funky.

Changing the LED. Lot of the expense is one slip up and we have to eat a headlight.

Splitting and replacing internal.

Yes. That was back when you sent them off to an old school headlight custom shop. Now the boards are $50 and everywhere for sale.
