Does anyone have the trailer plug wiring diagram for a 24 Ranger (non Raptor)? Trying to figure out the wires for R and L turn signal so I can tap them.

its on the plug cover. lol but you will get a trailer error once you tap them. I had to remove the left/right wires off my diode dynamics c1r harness and tap the 3rd brake wire I ran for my cap

Thanks! Good to know that it gives an error. I'll probably just tap the tail lights instead and avoid that.

FYI, standard 4 pin wiring is as follows:
Yellow = Left
Green = Right
Brown = Running/markers
White = Ground

if you want brake only, and dont want turn signals. the ford body builder layout book, aka upfitter guide shows to tap the 3rd brake light at the bcm and run a wire back to the rear. I was getting a cap installed, so I did this before the truck went in for the cap install. so it was easy to tap my diode dynamics c1r brake function to the brake wire I ran.

I ran a single run of 14/3. my ground for the cap(which I could use for another function later down the road and move the ground to the rear) constant 12v, for the cap dome light, and the brake wire.
and the trailer plug still gives me my ground, marker, and reverse power for my c1r cubes.

You can also buy a $20 bed cap light module to tap into the brake lights if you just want the brake light. Just taping into the taillights might give you errors.
