I just installed the @RealTruck Go Rhino D6 Running boards on my 24 XLT Ranger. I’m happy with the build quality of the running boards & the mounting brackets. Although these are NOT rock sliders, I do think that they can help save your rocker panels from a rock here & there. I have seen rock sliders that attach the same way to the body & I don’t know if I would trust them to save my rocker panels any more than these. They install just like the Go Rhino DSS slider at the rocker panel as well as being built very similar. All in all I’m happy with them & will do the job for me.

These are the DSS go Rhino sliders. I thought they would be more of a step & to be honest I mis-ordered thinking they were the D6. This is what the DSS looks like & they use the same mounting brackets as the D6 steps so all I had to do was ship back the rail.

Got them too.

Bought for my 2022 Tremor a year ago. Transfered on my new 2025 at the dealer. Very satisfied with the product. They offer a really good protection against rock slings from the front tire and I love the look. The surface area is a bit less on the 6G though. The holes for the mounting brackets on the rocker panel are probably just a bit deeper under the truck.

So were all the bolt holes in the Rocker panes in the same place as your older Ranger?

Everything aligned properly. I sold the side steps on my 2022 Tremor to a guy who had 2024. Same thing, perfect fit. The support brackets part number for these D6 is the same for the 5g and 6g. So I assume the holes are in the exact same place and the rocker panel is molded in the exact same way on both gens.

Thanks. I have the original sidestep & want to sell them so maybe they will fit the 5th gen as well.

how'd you order just the D6? I have the DSS sliders and now that truck is lifted, I need a step, but not something with a big drop. I want to order just the rails to mount on the existing brackets.

I called Real Truck & they sent me just the steps & I returned the sliders. I mistakenly ordered the wrong thing. The brackets that you attach them to the truck are the same. They may just sell you the steps. It’s worth calling their customer service to see if you can just order the steps being that you have the brackets already. If not, I don’t think it would be hard to sell the DSS. They do look good.
