Was out driving around my friends ranch and dragged the rear bumper. Didn't think to much of it at the time because I was just crawling very slow. Rock hit to the right side of the trailer hitch and bent the hell of bumper. Could not even lower the tail gate. Well, back to the shop! Found out the rear bumper is made out of sheet metal and was easy to bend back. Just took awhile to get it straight or straight enough.
Could not find a rear bumper (after market). Plan on building my own. Doesn't look like it will be easy to
reinforce the stock bumper. I need a skid plate back there for the way I drive lol.
Have already made a skid plate for the trans and looks like it has been tested. All is good. Ranger has 1 1/2 lift in front and 1" in rear with 255-70-18 tires.

Definitely post pics once you have it fabricated. I’m planning to pick up a Baja style bumper once available. Hate the current options that are offered, tubular option would be great too

Roxx Motor steel rear bumper $329.00. Check Amazon or their website. Don't know about sensor compatibility, if you have them.

Is that the bumper you have to remove the trailer hitch? That is not an option. I have built bumpers and this looks like a very difficult job to do at the shop without specialized equipment. For now will make skid plates to protect the stock bumper. Will go out and take some pics of the trans skid plate I made.

Mind to post some pics of this trans skid plate? Tia.
Had this aluminum plate left over from a job. I drive through fields so I added side shields to keep the grass and brush away from the cat.
