After almost 2 weeks of calling dealerships with online listings for Ranger Raptors, finally found one at MSRP! Placed the deposit and got approved with finance yesterday. Was hoping to get a Shelter Green, but Carbonized Gray will do just fine.

For others seeing this, if the Stock Order hasn't gone to build yet -- There maybe a chance for the dealer to make changes to the order. I found a stock order mid Jan that had a Build Date but hadn't gone to Production (Scheduled 3/25) and he was able to modify it just as if I was custom ordering it.

Yeah I got a call today from a dealer I talked to at launch (wanted ADM), sounds like they're shopping their allocation around now. Sounded like they still wanted ADM, but we'll see if they call me back.

They wanted to make sure I was able to get approved. I plan on applying for loans again once I get confirmed ETA. Sales manager was optimistic on it arriving before March though, not going to get my hopes up.

I *hopefully* have the stock order secured. They took my deposit info yesterday, though I am still waiting on a signed sales order and all of that.

My dealer sent it over next day after taking deposit, you should be good. I'd text/call salesperson for an update though.

So far they sent me the order preview, but no sales receipt yet. We'll see.

They said 30-45 days delivery, so hope that's true.

I'd definitely check online inventory regularly. I found both on Ford's main website inventory, the max radius is 100 miles so I looked up zip codes for neighboring states to get more results. Some listings are sold orders, but decent amount are available.

Thank you! That was awesome. Unfortunately not many in the color I want and the only dealership that had one already had it sold. Said it was the only one they are getting for the year. Guess they are all sticking with that.

i’ve been checking in that range- so far all the replies have indicated they’re spoken so I asked them to reach out if additional allocation or sale falls through. have some more to check/adjust my zip code for different search radius.

Did that as well before I found a MSRP deal, on almost 20 call lists if deals don't go through lol. I agree 5K+ markup are not worth negotiating to MSRP. Here's a few I called beginning of Feb, some with unconfirmed prices or 5K markup potentially negotiable to MSRP.
