Shifting concern?

I have a new 24 Lariat and it shifts smoothly from 3rd & up, however, accelerating from a stop it has what seems like occasional hesitation from 1st through 2nd. I notice this in sport or norm modes.

i’m new to these trucks and wondering if this is what others are experiencing or should i have it looked at for possible computer update?

Same. It's almost as if you missed a shift in a manual.

Happens all the time for me as well, almost as it if stalls out because you went from 1st to 3rd, then drops back down to 2nd

Yeah, there seems to be a slight hiccup when shifting between 1st and 2nd gear with my ranger raptor too.

planning to take mine in later this month when i get a break at work. i’ll report any findings/solutions.

a mobile tech came out today and looked it over and drove it. he experienced the same and basically, said it’s normal. his opinion is, at lighter throttle inputs it ‘skip shifts’ and tries to skip over 2nd to the next higher gear.

I've noticed this a couple times. I've also noticed some odd shifting when breaking.
Maybe just coming from a Manual though. Haven't really noticed that in my wife automatic transmission on her vehicle.
