Shipping? Lariat Batch from 03/04 - 03/08

Ordered on 12/29/2023 with the following options:
- Lariat
- Azure Grey Metallic Tri-coat
- Advanced Towing Package
- Black Running Boards
- Integrated Box Side Step
- Securicode Keyless Keypad
- Spray-in Bedliner

My blend date (build date) was 03/07/2024 and my dealer has confirmed my truck is fully built. Though, I got an e-mail over the weekend stating "We want to provide you with the latest update on your Ranger Lariat vehicle order. We’ve made great progress on your new Ford vehicle but have unfortunately experienced unexpected delays."

I'm curious if anyone else is delayed from this build week, or if their vehicle has began shipping. I'm located in the northwest Chicago suburbs and my transport mode is CONVOY. My dealer said delivery could be as soon as this week or weeks away - from their perspective, they're just waiting for information from a courier.

Nearly identical to my order and I’m also in NW Chicago area. Mine has a blend date of 1/29 and no updates since 1/30. Per my dealer a service bulletin for a bed support is what is holding up completion and shipment, but who knows if that is indeed true.

Pretty much the same here. Lariat FX4. I got the same email. My blend date was one day before yours, on the 6th. Dealer just called and said it’s built and back from getting the bedliner, and is sitting at the ramp awaiting shipment.

My blend date was 3/4. Went into production 3/5. Got the “we’re still building your vehicle” email on 3/14. I’ve decided since joining this forum that I know more about my vehicle than my dealer. They couldn’t tell me squat.

I feel as if, outside of @cordor who may have a specific issue, there may be no real delay at all? It seems we're just waiting on shipping. For @cordor, I'd find it odd if their vehicle isn't complete by now, given other trucks have been completely built after their blend date without issue.

I don't think a single truck has been delivered to Illinois. We are indeed waiting on shipping logistics to line up.

The tech-service bulletin around the bed support was a "customer satisfaction" bulletin, but all customers will still need to buy the braces separately if they are adding a topper. It isn't going to be installed in the factory.

Ford Chat was originally estimating March 14 - March 22 for arrival at my dealer... it seems like Ford wasn't aware of the potential for shipping delays either.

Nope, people on the forum have been seeing this issue since january. When your truck is scheduled originally, you get an "estimated delivery date".

This "estimated" date is what Ford chat & dealers quote from. The problem is if your truck gets delayed at any point along the production process, this date doesn't get updated until your truck is physically shipped...and by that point you should've gotten an email anyway from the pizza tracker saying as much.

Well this makes me curious. We went into production together. Do you know what number your truck was? My window sticker says 116/127.

I got the same email last Wednesday for my Lariat. Final destination will be Florida. Contacted my dealer via email to get me an update and got no response. Gonna follow up later on this week
