Since you are here, can you confirm how the fog lights work? With each cycle of the high beams will they cycle through their brightness settings?
Also what special things do the Australians use their upfitter switches for?
The Projector Fog Lights by Signature Lux have a standard high beam and low beam setup with a toggle switch (default fog light switch) , here's how you operate them:

- *By default*, the fog lights will start in *low beam mode* when turned on.
- To switch to *high beam mode*, simply turn the fog lights off by pressing the fog light switch and then turn them back on. This toggles between the low and high beam settings.
- Every time you restart the car, the fog lights will *automatically default to the low beam* setting for safety and normal driving conditions. While this might seem like a lot when reading, the operation in real life is seamless, functioning efficiently like clockwork.

In Australia, we use upfitter switches mainly for off-road and camping experience like fridges, solar panel, recovery gear, air suspension, interior lightning, tire inflator, CB radio, the bar lights, ditch lights, spotlights.

How does this work with the Auto High-Beams?

That's the answer I'm trying to get.
Since the high beams kill power to the fog lights, I would have to conjecture that when the truck switches back to low beams, the fogs would also come on in low beam mode. Once again, this is not a deal breaker to me since I have enabled the fogs to stay on with the high beams. If they get the mounts figured out I will probably make a purchase.
I have a lot of deer on my way to and from work so better side illumination would be very beneficial for me.
No, I'm not interested in ditch lights.

How did you change it so the fog lights stay on when the high beams are on?

Hello,

We’re Signature Lux, and we truly appreciate the tremendous support we receive from this forum – thank you!

We understand the frustration with the bracket not fitting, we all assume that the bracket will be the same for all RR. Well, here we are.

We'd love to work together to resolve this issue so you can fully enjoy the fog light and help other forum members who may be experiencing the same problem.

Would it be possible for you to send us a photo of your stock fog light? We’re looking into a solution and will send you the correct bracket once we've confirmed the details of the NA fog light. After that, you can expect to receive the updated bracket in the coming weeks (we will cover all related expenses).

Thanks again for your patience and support.

Best regards,
Signature Lux Australia
Ah wonderful. So glad I already ordered these and they are on there way...

Good evening from the land down under. ?
With the upgrade, the fog lights remain activated when the high beams are engaged. No need Forscan ;)

Its the end of Nov, has there been a fix to make these work with USA RR's? Thanks.

Nope. Got revised brackets that don’t fit. I’ve moved on

And of course, 3 hours after this post I get the no-context shipping info from Australia Post. This is what happened last time.

I’ll maybe try these brackets but it’s getting cold and taking apart snow lined wheel liners isn’t going to be my idea of fun.

So I have them installed now, and I'm going to be taking them back out.

1. The brackets aren't strong (2 mounting holes versus 3) so they shake when you drive.
2. Their high beam function is a non-starter. Let me explain

  • They start on low beams every time (great)
  • If you have auto high beams on - the turn off (just like OEM)
  • Then - when the truck automatically goes back to low beams - and the fogs cycle on - they're now on high beam mode.
  • If you want them on low beam mode (because duh) you have to hit your fog light switch twice.
  • Repeat for every cycle time of the high beams during a single trip.

They're coming out. Sorry Signature Lux - trying too hard and missed the mark

I knew it! I called this out when they first showed up on the board.
Long discussion with Ranger/Hobb that just couldn't get what I was saying even though I described this very thing. Luckily he has me on ignore so I don't have to see the tacky crap he glues to his truck.
I have my lights set to Bambi mode so my fogs don't cycle with the high beams but the shaking has me bothered.
I have a set on order.

Yeah this thread had me ignore a few people (love that feature btw).

What irks me is they show a video of them cycling on the high beams and the fogs staying on. They even said it doesn’t require forscan. Both not accurate in the NA ranger.

This time they’re headed for the trash. 3 brackets, inaccurate product descriptions and misleading videos. And a couple paid supporters.
