Anybody experience extremely slow opening and closing windows in cold weather. Any slower and they would not be moving. If so any remedy?

There’s a bunch of post here about this. Seems to be normal for the windows to be slow when in cold weather

You could try a silicone spray in the window tracks. I haven’t had the issue but have done this in other vehicles in the past.

mine were slow last winter. they apparently regreased something inside for me. the warm weather came and worked fine. but once again, this winter, sloooow.
I'm not going to do anything about it further.
my only change is to check the window before going through a drive through....I'd feel like an idiot if it wouldnt go up or down at all.

my son said his windows are slow in the cold weather too. he lives in nebraska so it sounds pretty cold to me. we get a day or two of 30s and 40s here so i don't try to roll the windows down on those days

Of the 6 6th gens we have, we did get one that I did notice a driver side window that was slower than the others. I think we are probably just going to wait for the first oil change to see if it loosens up any or if it needs to be addressed.

My 2024 is getting worse, started out sorta slow and over the course of a year is now really slow.
Temps are in the low 40. So not really cold.

I'm up in Ontario, and I’ve seen this on a few Fords during the winter months. Sometimes it's just the cold contracting the seals, but other times it's a bit of road salt/grit getting stuck in the tracks. Try cleaning the channels and applying a tiny bit of dry silicone spray. It usually does the trick before you have to worry about the regulator or motor failing.
