No one knows if it’s legit or not however those that had their trucks built in January(myself included) still don’t have delivery etas and even Ford Chat isn’t able to give accurate dates/times of delivery. My dealer is also “clueless” as to why it hasn’t shipped yet. Typically when a car/truck is built, it is shipped roughly a week later. This doesn’t appear to be the case so it’s guessed that these won’t deliver until March.By the sound of crickets. Looks like no one knows if this legit or not?
This is a hot scoop to drop late on a Monday night ?Word on the street is non Raptors got OKTB today and Raptor will be around the 15th. My brother works at the plant. I would put zero trust in speculation about a press event to start sales.... I also work in the industry and the last several launches including Super Duty, Mustang and Escape have had long hold times post launch for quality checks. Ever since the failed Explorer launch from several years ago they have held vehicles much longer than in the past.
Be patient. They are coming.
Thank you! I've been calling out the press event BS from the get-go because it never made any sense. The reason I love these forums is because we have people on the inside, or close to the inside helping us out with good info. There is so much BS in these forums of made up stuff I have to speak up every now and then.
It's hard to fight all the misinformation.
I'm just another dude on the internet sharing info.
I am by no means the authority. Just sharing what I know.
Appreciate the inside scoop. I am on the side of not knowing what the hell goes on behind the scenes when making a car, so trusting a random person on YouTube or a forum is all I have to go by. Although on your side it’s gotta be hilarious reading some of our posts. lolThe info changes all the time. Most folks here have never worked in auto manufacturing and it shows!
The automakers hurt themselves by trying to be like Amazon or Domino's with all these trackers.
Who remembers the good old days when you ordered a car and just one day it shows up?
JIT manufacturing is incredibly complex.and changes by the minute. Working in JIT has been one of the most stressful times of my 27 years in automotive.
We will all get our trucks. It took me 2 years to get my Bronco.
Hang in there folks!
