The sailplane is part of the roller cover that Europe get on the Raptor, and we get the same thing on the Wildtrak too. I hate them, not because of the sailplane, but I hate those hard roller covers.

We got our best look yet at the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor in the wild, thanks to this undisguised truck finished in gray paint. The truck is labeled as an “EU Spec” model, but it should be largely the same as the truck we’ll get in the States.

I think it's an awesome looking truck. The only thing I would change is the grill. I know that seems ass backwards, as everyone and their dog seems to want the raptor grill for their current Ranger, but the letters just look too big, and stick out too far. The proportions just don't look right to me.
(and I didn't mention the euro "rollbar", because that won't make it to NA)

Hey, you and me both. I generally practice "de-branding" on my vehicles (taking off stickers, replacing the vents with all-black versions, etc.), and so I definitely think that screaming "Ford" from the grill is a bit over the top. I wonder if we could replace those with one of the current Ranger grills?

When I had my 2018 Raptor it was called "Leadfoot gray".

Seems we have different names here in Australia. This is our conquer grey which looks similar, if anything a little lighter

For $60K+ it should have a real headache bar not a useless plastic one.

I bought my Ranger off the dealers lot and it already had the factory steps which I hate. Even though it was new they weren't giving me anything for them so I figured I just use them until they broke off when off road then get sliders. Darn things have held up pretty good even though the undersides are beat to death. lol

depressingly drab exterior , I read the blackout treatment is on the way out . And those tailights will cost significantly more to replace, more opportunities for thieves to prosper. The exterior design is slowly evolving (sinking) into Ridgeline territory with that fake bed appendage. The real question is with the v-6 will fake engine sounds still be a thing.

there is a driver's side grab handle - so some lucky person at Ford will make some cost reduction $$$ assuming it is initially offered then de-contented.
