A few of us are calling the Ford Marketing number at 1 (800) 334-4375. We tell the automated system that we want to check the order status of our Ranger. We then give the required info to the agent. We explain to them that we are not interested in getting the status, (since they just read the tracker), and just send us to the survey which we explain to them will be a 1-2-1-1, lowest marks. We do this for 3 reasons: clog up the phone bank, demoralize the agents, and make their survey data useless. As a result many of us have been contacted by Andy Cascade, head of Ranger for Ford. Reading between the lines, Rangers built before about 20FEB24 have bad ECM code that needs to be wiped, (about 2 hours per vehicle). Just an fyi. Any one that is trolling and would like to provide negative feedback, I’ll GLADLY provide my home address. Come get me!😉🤣

It's BS that you've had to go through all of that effort to get that information out of Ford. That being said, I will gladly join in your efforts!
Still waiting on my 2/6 "produced" truck to show any signs of movement. The "case" that they filed on my behalf is a total joke as well!

Thank you for posting this information. It has been driving me nuts wondering what the hold has been for.

One might logically imagine, then, that knowing they have X trucks that need updated, and Y personnel doing it, and Z hours per truck, that they could provide some clue or rough estimate of when we can expect our nearly-a-year-waiting orders. But I guess that's too much trouble for Mr. Cascade and his staff. Much easier to just push more off the line today and get them out to make their production numbers, and then get to the lot full of early ones whenever they get around to it.

Interesting
So what does it mean when we are moved to ramp 59. That the update has been completed?
I will gladly join as my blend date is 2/01 so mine is effected. No updates since 4/05 and still in production.

It seems the answer is no. Mine's been sitting on "Ramp 59" for nearly 60 days (that I've known about anyway) and hasn't moved or changed in status since 3/20.

Ones that are now coated in rust from sitting all winter.

Exactly... Not sure I consider a vehicle sitting out in the Michigan winter weather for nearly four months to be "new" at this point.

I'm waiting until end-of-April to get actual answers either via the dealer, or from Ford. Then it's time to pull the plug on this fiasco. I'm not holding my breath.

Just a suggestion. Have any of you looked in your surrounding area to see if there’s a match to what you ordered either sitting on the dealer lot or in transit? If not, it’s worth a look if you prioritize having your truck faster vs the potential $1k rebate.

I will be calling. I have two on order one for each of my offices on opposite coast and separate dealers. Both are in the same situation one at ramp 59 the other in production. I also tweet a reply every time the CEO post on X. “Hey Jim where is my Ranger Raptor? It’s been built for months with no update. Please help!” We all heed to do this and call too. Nothing else may a rebate or customer cash incentive to us who have had to wait even more.

Yours and mine could just be waiting for a ride.
But who knows as we are told nothing.

My dealer's GM is supposedly working with their Ford rep to find out more information about my order, but I highly doubt he's going to learn anything new. (Then again, I'm getting pretty cynical.)

In any case, when I hear back from them next week, I was going to suggest that as the final alternative to walking away, and let them do the work of trying to track one down.

Just an fyi, I cancelled my original order, placed 7/5/23, due to the truck sitting since 1/31, last update 2/1/24. Reordered on 3/22, scheduled for week of 6/3. Wondering which will hit the dealer first!
