I bought my truck in January the weekend before Inauguration because I wasn't sure what tariffs would do to pricing or how quickly, if they'd try to retroactively increase(thankfully they didn't) Still glad I bought when I did. I have everything I wanted on my truck now + the warranty before that went up in price and don't need anything else to add on at this point other than ongoing maintenance. Its gonna continue to get ugly out there $$ wise.
When I look at a 2025 model and compare it to my 2024, there's very little MSRP price difference.
One difference is that Ford now charges $750 for running boards on FX4, when my '24 FX4 came with them. Another is $250 for the keypad, whereas mine was $90,
My conclusion, tariffs haven't affected prices as much as fearmongers said it would.
People really believed that a 50% tariff would raise the retail price by 50%.
That's not how tariffs work.
