Tailgate appearance overhaul

I have had four F-150 Raptors, Two SVT and Two Ford Performance. Loved the blacked out tailgate. Wasn't always a fan of the lettering, so on my 2024 Ranger I decided to removed the Ford emblem, the raptor badge, wrap the middle of the tailgate with Matte Black wrap, re-do my tailgate letters to match and outline the Raptor and replace it. A very easy job to do.

I used finalize tape for the bottom and simply applied the vinyl, worked out the bubbles, cut the bottom with the tape and tucked the edges. Hit with Heat gun and you're done.

Not sure it ruins it for me but it looks a lot bigger with the blackout maybe with the blackout oval?

Full tailgate (as of now). It is a work in progress, but you can get an idea of the size of the oval relative to the full tailgate size. I feel like black makes it less prominent.

Ignore the cardboard. I just finished relocating the trailer plug next to license plate.

Added hitch receiver plug.

Still coming:
- red insert letters in “RAPTOR” badge
- dealer sticker to be removed
- black “RANGER” lettering in stamped metal
- red covers for recovery hooks (maybe… I like SOME red accents on Carbonized Gray, but I don’t want to overdo it.)
