Service bulletin 24-7034 just says: "we made a shitty system, that must also be used on markets where it is not mandatory. Please try to explain this to your stupid clients without getting a punch to your face." :)

Is there a way to disable it in Forscan? I have been searching for asbuilt and non-asbuilt menu and found nothing.

This doesn't tell me "all I need to know". What is this saying? That it's fixed? That it's broken? Thanks...
It is basically a dealer notice to inform customers that it's sensitive, not broken, and how to adjust, disable certain features etc... As I said " all the needed information to adjust/disable, etc... Not "all I need to know" Ford isn't going to tell us all we need to know!

Dealers cannot even mess with this system because of legalities. If it could be altered in Forscan it will most likely need multiple settings changed because how the (safety) systems tie together, plus you'd probably loose other functions to boot in order to disable one. The bulletin even address that because you can loose blind spot monitoring if you turn certain features of it off. Don't you just love all the things done for our safety yet? Lol. We can always hope though!!

I never understand why people want all that electronic crap on their truck. I bought an XL model which has none of that stuff and I'm quite pleased with it. Let's ME drive, .....NOT the computer :sunglasses:
Does your car have an automatic transmission? Does it have power steering?

unfortunately, they do. i tried to get as close to my old 04 ranger as possible. it had roller windows, manual lock, and a standard trans but none of that can be had on a new ranger.

i think only the gladiator can be had that way, of the midsized trucks, but they have engine rocker arm failures and a well known clutch failure issue.

You can turn off the lane keeping assist, and the auto start stop , (which I do.)
I also wish there was less tech.
I dont need a back up camera. I was always taught to use the back window and your side mirrors ,I dont need a touch screen to put my HVAC on/off .I can use the knobs and buttons just fine.
