On the 5G Rangers you can disable it by plugging in a LED night-lite into the 120 outlet on the back of the console. I have been using this technique for 5 years on my 2020 Ranger. It is a simple and cheap solution. Note that it needs to be a night-lite that is always on. I don't know if this will work for 6G Rangers.

I am no fan of the auto ss, I had my 110v mag light charging cradle plugged into the rear seat plugin, it kills the a.s.s., anything plugged in there that is.
