Yea, I had a New TRX back in 2021, I owned it for just short of 4 years , great truck, loved everything about it but the size, would love to see a midsize twin to the TRX in a Dakota with a 392 v8 NA motor.
That would be my dream truck these days.
Also use to have a viper truck as well.
‘I have no issues at all with Dodge or Ram products,
Heck 4 of the 6 vehicles in my personal stable right now are still Dodge or Ram vehicles.
Can’t say I am not at least tempted to order another TRX , but would rather have a 392 Glatiator or maybe a 392 Dakota if they ever offer one.

Any use for the new 2026 Durango R/T 392? That would be a seriously fun SUV.

Sort of been there done that.
Had a 2014 Durango and yep it had a Hemi in it. LOL
5.7L Hemi.
Overall every time I have bought a Unibody SUV, I seldom kept them long, and always went back to a body on frame SUVs.
I also had a Grand Cherokee which it also had a Hemi in it. LOL
As well as a Jeep Commander again also had a Hemi in it. LOL
All were 5.7L hemi engines, at the time back then the 392 was not an option.

If comparing Apples to Apples there has been a lot more TRX's sold, then there has been Raptor Rs.
2023-2024.

It is not a hot seller in 2025 since it was not in production in 2025.

When it was in production it sold as fast as they could build them.

True, they have a well proven powertrain in the TRX.
Even though I am huge fan of the Ranger Raptor as well as the Gen 1 v8 original F150 Raptor.

I have just not cared for any of the V6 F150 Raptors and still when given a choice between the Raptor R and the TRX. I am probably going with the TRX again.

I just like the looks and comfort, and I guess just over all in general like the TRX better than the Raptor R.

Yea the interior is big plus in the Ram.
The one thing that I have always found really cheeseeeeee in the Raptor R and most later model F150s for that matter, is the Gear shift, just feels and just looks and feels like something they had Fisher price design for them.
Feels really cheap.
Overall, a lot more hard plastic touch points in the interiors of the Raptor R compared to the TRX.

I am sure both are really nice trucks, well I know the TRX is since I had one for nearly 4 years.

I know the Raptor R sounds much better than the V6 F150 Raptors but none of the Raptor's sound as good as the Hemi in the TRX. IMO.

I think they will always be a second choice just from the fact Raptor was first to the party. I do like the TRX but it’s not a Raptor.
