But if it voids your warranty (and rightfully so) it's not worth it.
No it doesn’t, If and that’s a big If there’s and powertrain issues it’s up to the manufacturer and dealer to prove the aftermarket part/tune was the cause of the failure.

But hey, if you don’t feel comfortable then stick with the ProCal. :)

I too have experienced the shifting inconsistencies. This is why I am learning how to "button shift." Can't say I'm very good at it yet, but it beats leaving the shifting decisions up to a software program. Yea, paddle shifters would be nice, but like it's been since the Model T......run what you bring.

Have fun with your truck y'all. That's what we purchased them for.

That's good to hear, I'm much more concerned about the shifting - truck with the 2.7 doesn't need more power IMO but the shifting drives me nuts sometimes. When its not being funky the 10R60 is great but the random odd shifts is off-putting to me.
Yeah those went away for me lol

The tranny shifts is the sole reason i got the procal tune. Very glad i did. It fixed everything i hated about the shifting. To me , it added some HP as well. I am getting 1-2 MPG more after the tune as well , but i dont lead foot it either.

I also have the Procal and an S&B. I don't notice any more noise from the S&B that wasn't there before. The tune makes the truck behave IMO how it should have out of the box - shifting is much smoother and more logical. These two mods alone put a 2.7 XLT in stock Raptor territory for straight line power (torque and acceleration) and that's nothing to sneeze at.

I have only had my XLT since March but I have 6K miles on it - plenty of time to evaluate and it is running really well, minus needing a new windshield already due to construction sites everywhere.

Thank you for your input, I'm glad to hear this - I know there are "better tunes" and that Ford would have to prove an aftermarket tune caused a drivetrain failure etc. but I really only care about improving the shifting and keeping my warranty. Truck has plenty of power IMO.
