I apparently incorrectly posted in the "Raptor Forum" section, MY MISTAKE. I am referring to ALL RANGER MODELS as I believe Raptors are stock orders only.

I was told by my dealer this morning (06/19/2023) that realisitically, I was looking at a six month to one year wait for my XLT retail order (from order to actual delivery) even though Ford Video Guy states there are only 1,500 retail orders in the system for ALL Ranger models (which I kind of find hard to believe, even though I know many people may be waiting on the Taco, or whatever personal reason). I ordered an Iconic Silver Metalic, chrome package, XLT standard, 4x4, high tech package, sprayed in bed and standard tow (none at this point a constraint this year for the Ranger). As oppossed to prior retail orders I've made in the past, they sounded very confident that my XLT would actually be built closer to the six month time frame. I know it's all crystal ball stuff, but anybody hear similar or different from their dealer, or perhaps an inside scoop for whatever credence that may be worth?

Don't kill the messenger, but I was told by the dealer this morning (06/19/2023) that realisitically, I was looking at a six month to one year wait from retail order to delivery. I personally don't mind the wait as I am okay with my 2022 Ford Escape and it gives me more time for a larger down payment. As oppossed to prior retail orders they sounded very confident that it would actually be built. I know it's all crystal ball stuff, but anybody hear similar or different?
I placed my order the day order banks opened up and received an email from Ford confirming the order and stating I’d have an update in 45 days. It hasn’t been 45 days yet, so no news to share.

I placed my XLT retail order on June 16th, received same e-mail. I had gone in today for service on my current Escape and just asked about the Ranger wait. To clarify, I was actually wondering if anybody has heard something similar about wait time from thier dealer, or had an inside scoop. :)

I think your dealer is likely just trying to lower expectations. Overdeliver so-to-speak.

My dealer said he can't even give a guess because they haven't even scheduled any, and started production. It's hard to add a timeline, because they don't know if there will be constraints or anything like that.

Well.. Raptors aren't retail orders, so they don't count towards the numbers Tim was talking about...

6 months to a year is like the minimum. Everyone here needs to accept they are getting a 2025 MY, and if it's earlier consider it your lottery win for your lifetime.

and he posted in the Raptor section…
Posting in the Raptor forum is MY MISTAKE...sorry for any confusion. I believe Raptors are stock and not retail orders only. I did not realize there was a generalized "Raptor Forum." I am talking about ALL Ranger lines.

I ordered a Raptor on May 26th, the day order banks opened. My dealer told me then that at minimum it would be six to eight months.

"Snkrjeff020" As I already stated, I apparently mistakenly posted in the "Raptor Forum" section. I am refering to all Ranger lines, was that what your reply was refering too? If so, would you please mind sharing why you think that is so? Thank you! :)

You are correct in your response, I am referring to all Ranger models. I did not realize I posted in a specific "Raptor section." I'm irritated at myself for doing so, and perhaps confusing some. Thank you for your constructive response. What you wrote makes total sense.

No problem! If I can get a Bronco (which has way more orders) in about 9 months, I suspect the Ranger delivery should be much faster!

That's my hope at least!
