Turbosmart intercooler install - maintenance drain

Hey all installing the Turbosmart intercooler. The maintenance drain is threaded but has just a red soft plug . Feels like there should be a metal plug included? Am I missing something or is the red plug all that’s needed?

I chatted with turbosmart. They stated a 1/8in NPT is suppose to replace the shipping cap.

I honestly dont know what this is.. so I need to take off the skid plate and take a look.

Did you find something to install in this outlet?

They are stating to use a 1/8" NPT (National Pipe Thread) plug or drain valve to seal that port.
It should have been included in the packaging.
They are readily available at most automotive and hardware stores.
Apply liquid pipe thread sealant to the threads before installing. Don't over tighten.

I just had them ship me one out. Was not in the box but yeah standard easy to get from ace hardware. Out of town for two weeks no hurry for me. Thank you for the response!
