Turn on Side Mirror Amber lights while driving

Anyone knows if its possible to enable / turn on the mirror amber lights while driving via ForScan?

Doesn't sound very legal - they're turn signals to signal to traffic and pedestrians that can't see the front of your vehicle of your intention to turn... probably best left alone?

Why do you want these as DRLs? The front ones aren't big or bright enough...??

If I am not mistaken F250's will turn on the amber mirror lights as daytime running during the day while driving. Just saw one this morning and would be nice to have.

If you go to 1:50 in this video you will see it.

Isn’t that due to the F250 being a whole lot wider it needs marker lights by law? So they’re not DRLs they’re marker lights?

no, the f250 from the factory does not require clearance/ID lights. only on the duallys and f150 raptors.

i too would love for my mirror lights to work as running lights.

I don’t know of a resource for this unless you figure it out. Right now there’s not very much FORScan info on the RR. Like you said about the f250, anything can be done.
The f1,2,3,4, maverick and bronco communities are way more active about sharing, working, updating, their FORScan spreadsheets.
If you haven’t already, download your as built data. Go in a play with the modules. I take pictures and try not to make too many changes at once. I refer back to those other spreadsheets and look at my as built data on my other vehicles to compare. If you mess anything up you can always go back and change it.
