I have done this with Android. All you have to do is link Amazon Alexa to FordPass. Then just say... Alex, ask FordPass to turn on my vehicle or turn off, lock, unlock door and so on.
No need to open apps or tuch and buttons.
To setup, open Alexa app/ Skills and select Connected Car. From there select Ford Pass and enter credentials. Enter a pin number (it ask you for pin when you ask to unlock)

When I add to the iPhone control screen I only have lock/unlock options doing that, am I missing something?

For Android and Alexa, don't you still have to unlock your phone and open the Alexa app for that to work? I'd think it would work ok on other Alexa devices such as the echo dot in the kitchen or wherever, which could be useful.

I wish Google wouldn't have neutered this feature.

I have the Alexa app always open so all I have to do is unlock my phone and speak to Alexa. I mainly use it when I'm out and walking out of restaurants or such. Is it fast than opening the Ford Pass, not much. I also use Alexa while driving to make an announcement for family members and it plays via the echos which is almost every room.

No, you are not. Lock/Unlock are the only native options. To turn on and off you gotta download those reddit shortcuts.

In iPhone you have to be on alexa app screen. If I have to open any app, I would open the Ford Pass itself.

Nice! That would be very useful to me as well.
