USB fuctionality near the wirless charger

Hello Rangers!

I just bought these cheap USB lights so my cubby hole under the screen can be seen at night. I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRYGT5QB

and tested it morning and noticed when I shut the truck off the USB is still powering the light. Is there a timer on these USB? I cant imagine they are live even when truck is off but the light did not shut off after a few seconds of the truck being off.

i wonder if its like the outside lights and stays on for 30 seconds or so

Yeah, ill test that out. It was cold out this morning so my patience not really that great!

Ok so they do shut off so it was user error. When i got out of the truck and locked it, I saw the USB light go out.

When in the truck and you lock the truck from inside it keep accessories on.. so when i waited 30 seconds nothing happened i thought something was amiss. should have tested more before posting and wasting time..

I’ve been using lights like those in my Ranger (and Bronco sport too) in both front and back usb ports and they all go off shortly after exiting the vehicle.

On my RR you can turn on the ambient lights in the menu and it lights up the cubby whenever it’s dark.

Hey, the lights arrived and these are much brighter than the OP. Thanks for the tip! I like how they can cycle through each light and point down. Good for the back seat so you're not blinding people!
