Use iPhone maps in CarPlay?

Is there a way to use iPhone maps in CarPlay ? Can not find a way to make it work

Just make sure the app is active in car play mode

Of course you can! Like Alaska Steve said make sure the map app is enabled for car play - settings > General > CarPlay

Then it should appear in CarPlay on your Ranger's screen. I have to say that Apple Maps has been glitchy for me in CarPlay with the Ranger, but it worked well in my previous Subaru.

Works great. Carplay/Apple Maps also displays upcoming turn info, when following a route, at the top of the main display like the Ford Navigation maps. Not quite a heads up display but better than having to glance at the center stack.
