Water leak right front floor

Hi everybody. Just got back from a road trip to Colorado and drove in a lot of rain and noticed wet carpet smell. This morning I traced it down to the front passenger floor board. I pulled the carpet back and only found the carpet and insulation at the bottom wet. Seems to be dry going up the firewall. Could have already dried up higher. Anyone else have this problem? Don’t want go to the dealer if I can avoid them. Thanks. 2026 Ranger Raptor.

Had this happen on my ‘24 Ranger. Took dealership two attempts to fix it. Only explanation was that it was a leak at the firewall.

I’ve taken the doors apart several times on my Ranger (XLT).

The way it’s designed, I don’t think a substantial amount of water could get in without one of the door seals being visibly messed up.

Concur with JJ, ask the dealer to check the firewall area for a leak.

Check the windshield seal/gasket too. I have read of, but never experienced such a leak from there.
