Its not the tint. Its cheap plastic. Seen this on all years rangers. Switch to LED and your done.
The tint is likely exacerbating the issue.

leds shouldn't produce heat, should they. even aftermarket?

i know on all the previous gen rangers, the stock bulbs would melt those lenses. my 04 had the issue and it was totally stock when i got it. i put led and got a new lens and it hasn't done it since
LED DO in fact produce heat. that is why they have heat sinks. the brighter and more powerful the leds are, the more heat they produce, and heat is a killer of leds. get a good led flashlight, turn it on, you can only hold your hand there for like 30seconds before it is uncomfortable hot.

just look at the factory led fog light heatsink, vs the diode dynamics elite series heat sink. its like 4 times the size. and now the fogs actually work in the fog/rain.
