Anyone tried this out? I had a smart cap on my 2021 Tremor would not fit new RR. looks nice much cheaper looking for reviews

I like mine a lot, have never had another to compare it to.

Pros: price, looks, security, weathertight

Cons: darkens interior of the cab, makes rear view mirror pretty useless, but both of those cons would be with any topper. No pass through window to cab

In SoCal, so hardly ever rains, but photos are from after a good wash, only water intrusion I have is in rear, I think more from the tailgate than from the topper.

Looks like no more water gets in there than when I hose my windshield off and open the door.

I'd say that's sufficiently water tight.

I’ve had ARE shells on a 90s & a 2002 ranger & liked them. After the last 20 years of driving a land rover & 4runner I just got another Ranger. I’m looking at all the different metal / Alum shells. I think for the price & the only one that has a remote key lock at the tail gate the Westen EXP is a good option. I like the Alu Cabs a lot but have a hard time with the $4500 although with no side windows there are around $4100.
