Honestly hadnāt noticed it till now, but looks like mine has those same corner spacers too. Yea I agree they probably could do better job there .Thanks! The one thing I am disappointed with is the trim pieces in 2 corners of each side window. They are cheap plastic with a foam pad spacer on one corner.

Oops- typo⦠ā25 NOT ā26⦠DOH!!I went the Flated route also for my ā26 Lariat. I donāt want a full time topper for my purposes. Easy one person installation/takedown - easy storage- rock solid even with my heavy foot on the highway. I went with the slightly taller version for the extra space. Could not be happier. Itās definitely not a fashion statement- but I needed occasional utility.

I also have only occasional need for a topper so I've been looking at the Flated option. But I'm concerned about theft of what's inside it, such as overnight in a hotel parking lot or at a campsite while I've gone for a day hike. Obviously a knife can get into it pretty easily, but is there any kind of way to "lock" it just to slow down a thief? ThanksI went the Flated route also for my ā26 Lariat. They just came out with a more rigid back window/hatch. Itās able to be locked (D-rings and padlock)- but if real security is your main priority- this probably isnāt for you. Bottom line for me is that if someone wants your shit, theyāll take it. But I do like the idea of keeping an honest guy honest with the new back door option.I also have only occasional need for a topper so I've been looking at the Flated option.
