I think they are fine. They fit perfectly into the slots and are black when turned off, giving a sleek appearance. The wires are short and thin, but the kit includes a Wire Shielding Sleeve. I had to purchase some wire and connectors to finish the installation, which was straightforward. Previously, I bought a kit from F150leds which turned out to be too large for the slots. The LED build quality is inferior, but the wire loom is much better.

What did you connect them to? And I assume they come on with your headlights? Or are they on when the ignition is on?

To one of the AUX wires located between the radiator and the battery. They will turn on whenever the ignition is on and the overhead AUX 5 switch is activated.

Installed a 30” LED bar behind the grille —easy setup with the original bolt spots. Usually, I opt for Baja Designs LEDS, but this time I chose a budget-friendly Hella Black Magic. It's surprisingly bright, with a beam throw distance comparable to the pricier option. The slim all black design keeps it low-key behind the grille.
