Why the unfinished looking bed?

Wife just traded in her edge ST for a ranger! I thought it was missing the trim piece on the front of the bed rail! Nope!

So whats the point? Bed cover the only way to make it look finished?

The front rail by the back glass. No plastic trim like my F150 has.

Yes, I see what you are referencing now. I don't have anything there either, but filled the space with a trim piece that came with my tonneau cover. So, you will need to install a cover to make it look finished.

I’d think is someone designed a snap in plastic piece for that spot they could make $50-$100 each on them.
If i didn’t just order a tonneau cover I’d want one.
