And yet your "engine" is lubricated with "motor" oil.I think you mean engine, a motor is electric, engines are ICE.
Yes, and don't forget to register your engine vehicle. If the line at the engine vehicle dept is long bring along an Engine Trend magazine to read while you wait. When you are finished, engine out to the countryside. Is that why the UK calls their fast roads engineways?
nope I mean motor, both terms the same dude lolI think you mean engine, a motor is electric, engines are ICE.
Also. for those who don't know the RR 3.0l EcoBoost also has the same wet belt oil pump system as the 2.7.... just saying...A Kevlar belt with remarkably few failures for the 2+ million in service. The oil pan was an issue in the first generation of 2.7 but was sorted by 2018. And the only “issue” with the drain plug I’m aware of is that the oil flows rather fast when the plug is removed.
btw, if you have a 2025 2.3 which has the new mpc engine, are you basing th reliability of that engine from the very different previous 2.3?
Ours is a 2006. I'm never gonna sell her. Love it too much. She just turned 60K miles. Plenty of life left in the 4.0L. A solid motor, and the last year of the AMC engine.I have two tjs. I did the relay upgrade on the 03 rhd tj and it made a world of difference. The 97, i am planning on selling so not trying to do to much to it
Ford rarely misses the opportunity to miss an opportunity. So I’m watching football this weekend and I keep seeing Ford ads and not a Ranger in sight. Plenty of Broncos and F150s, and a few Mustangs. But never, ever a Ranger.
I wonder why? The current iteration of the Ranger is a terrific product. Even the XL gets a brawny Ecoboost from the Mustang. And the RR is best in class.
What gives, Ford?
Honda is always so late to every party its typically cooled off or completely over by the time they get there:Also keep an eye on Honda, pretty sure they would like a body on frame truck too.
I don't think Honda has ever been considered the bargain alternative brand to....I'm not sure what...maybe Toyota? While it can be argued Honda is conservative with its product offering, Honda is doing well and doing something Toyota has let slide rather significantly, product quality.Honda is always so late to every party its typically cooled off or completely over by the time they get there:
late to the SUV party they didnt carve out any significant slice
late to the truck party and produced a low sale boutique entry no one wants
never entered the V8 party and everyone moved on to smaller displacement turbocharging fleet party
late to the smaller displacement turbocharging fleet party
late to the performance vehicle turbocharging party
and now the Korean manufacturers are eating Hondas lunch in every category because Hondas are no longer the bargain alternative brand.
Maybe you are too young to remember Acura and Lexus were the bargain alternative brand to the German luxury/performance marquees and Honda/Toyota for economy American carsI don't think Honda has ever been considered the bargain alternative brand to....I'm not sure what...maybe Toyota? And the 5.0L Coyote that everyone wishes they could have.Also. for those who don't know the RR 3.0l EcoBoost also has the same wet belt oil pump system as the 2.7.... just saying...
