Its not as bad as lime green yellow,but its still Orange to me. I do not consider that a red.

Its called hot pepper red.

Its definitely more red than orange. I had a sunset orange camaro Z28 and a sunburst orange Chevy Avalanche in the past. Those were orange lol. If HPR or code orange would have been an option for '25 I would have gotten it over the ugly ass greens. Silver would have been right behind those other 2.

ok. hot pepper red is similar to hennrot on older bmws. it can seem orange but is really a very red red

I'm bummed out that lightning blue wasn't an option on US Ranger Raptors but it was an option on overseas Ranger Raptors.

I'd prefer having a silver option.

I ended up with white because it was available near me, but like my GTI in White Silver Metallic, my overly sensitive eyes prevent me from looking at it easily in direct sunlight.

Mine was originally dealer ordered in the sand color. I had him change it to black and then started to remember how much I hated.black on my Corvette so I changed it to white. Had HPR been available i would have went that route but I do love my white. Changed out the boring graphics on the box today. Fronts letters are forged carbon with code orange outline and box is satin black with code orange outline. Give the truck some color. I love my orange colors though.

Unless you're in direct sunlight with the sun actually shining on the panel you're looking at HPR is very much red imo. Even when it gets a multi-tone orangey red in the sun I've never had anyone call it anything but red. At most they look for a minute and say 'it's kinda got a little bit of an orangey tint to it'.

Before I got it I thought the color was going to be much more orange based on pics I saw online.

I was really disappointed that they discontinued any Red, or the light Silver for the RR 2025's. It makes no sense to me the regular Ranger can be had in Red, but not the Raptor. That said I was going to get a White one this year, but I ended up with Shelter Green because of cost(dealer markups) and what was headed to South Florida for the next several months. Shelter Green is pretty in the the full sun, but other than that it just to dark and boring in my opinion.

Been watching the 6th gen Ranger development for years and saved pics of the pre-production models that managed to show up online. Attached are pics of one in Detroit that is "Ruby Red" I am thinking. Pretty sure that is not Hot Pepper Red in these photos. I think it looks great in that color. It is sporty, without being in your face, and definitely not too orange. If for 2026 they were to offer this Red on the Raptor, my pocket may take a hit.... LOL

That is HPR. Looks just like my truck. When it’s not in the sun it is straight up deep red.
